Sisters Eve Glover and Stephanie Cammell along with Leigh Townsend (Shen Osteopathy). Together we run a private clinic at The Haven, Te Arai which is an oasis for healing located near one of Mangawhai's most famous beaches, a welcome escape from a hectic lifestyle.

Sisters Stephanie and Eve both have a passion for health and wellness. From a young age they were introduced to a life of travel. It was about finding places that would inspire them through different cultures and their traditional healing methods.

They have both trained extensively to bring together a broad range of treatments and styles of bodywork. Dedicated to sourcing and using the most luxurious, organic and therapeutic treatments from around the globe.

ABOUT ME

I’m originally from Auckland where I spent a good part of my childhood along with my sister Eve travelling the beaches of the North Island with our parents, trawling for waves so my Dad could indulge himself in his passion for surfing. They took us travelling with them to some pretty magical places, so at a young age my sister and I had our first introduction into things like incense and organics, smudge sticks and tarot cards.

We became fascinated with Art and Music and travelling the world meant we could learn about some pretty cool indigenous cultures and their healing methods. I was a spirited and feisty teenager who was determined to start my own business.  I graduated from the New Zealand College of Massage in 2002 with a Diploma in Therapeutic

Massage and started my own business in Auckland. In the years that followed I continued to work in the health and wellness industry both in New Zealand and in Europe. One of my passions is massage on location and I’ve had lots of experience massaging on super yachts, in hotels, healing sanctuaries, Golf Courses, Rugby Clubs, luxury spas and lots of outdoor environments.
I have a hunger for continued knowledge, sharing with like minded practitioners and connected parents doing interesting and fun things with their children.

I have learned so much about health, wellness, meditation and healing rituals so I love to share all of this. In my practice I like to get to the source of people and connect them to themselves or to others who may help in their healing. I try to make an interesting and creative setting for massage therapy in order to bring a distinctive flow to my work, I only use organic products and constantly evolve my music playlist just like I do my massage therapy.

Whatever healing means to you whether it may be life that’s dragging you down or chronic pain, I’d like to help point you to the path towards feeling well, whole and happy.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Eve, I love creating sacred space for people and I love moonlighting as a sometimes jeweller.

I have an incredible pull towards the ocean and the creatures that live in it probably due to my lifestyle and DNA, and partly my upbringing.

I can’t tell you how I really got into Herbal Medicine. I do remember from about the age of 9 or 10 being fascinated, excited and curious about the magic and the meaning of plants. I started a medicinal herb garden and researched as much as my reading ability allowed. Our travels around the world as children, particularly Africa and Indonesia, fed my curiosity for spirituality in life.

Blessings and offerings left out for deities in Indonesia and Masai warriors dancing inspired me to explore rituals and ceremony. I smudged. I made smudge and I smudged a lot.
You could say I smudged my way through adolescence. I graduated with a diploma in spa therapies in 2005 and continued on to work in spas, retreats, chiropractic clinics and health stores. In 2011 I completed my Diploma in Herbal Medicine and I’ve been working this into my practice with clients ever since.

What I love the most about this work is celebrating the uniqueness in you as an individual at any stage of life and walking beside you as your body awakens its own innate ability to heal whether it be through herbal formulas, on the massage table or both.
